WORKSHOP DETAILS
Broadway Revolution is a high-energy summer musical theatre workshop designed for young performers looking to build confidence, strengthen their performance skills, and experience the excitement of collaborative theatre-making.
Through focused training in acting, vocals, choreography, and stage performance, students will develop their artistry in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Participants will take part in engaging masterclasses, ensemble exercises, choreography workshops, scene study, and character development activities — all culminating in a final showcase performance at the historic Lamp Theatre in Irwin!
Students will also receive an exclusive OnCue Collective workshop swag bag with a T-Shirt and other OnCue Swag!
This experience is perfect for performers in highschool and middle school who are eager to grow creatively, challenge themselves, and shine on stage.
Rehearsals and workshop classes will take place June 15th–17th, with the final showcase held at The Lamp Theatre in Irwin, PA. Throughout the workshop, students will rotate through performance-focused classes and rehearsals led by the OnCue Collective team.

Day 1
Skills, Staging, and Storytelling

Morning
Ensemble Exercises: Collaborative theatre games and ensemble-building activities will help students strengthen teamwork, communication, movement, stage awareness, and performance chemistry.
Choreography workshops: Students will learn musical theatre choreography while building coordination, movement quality, rhythm, and performance confidence in a supportive environment.

Staging & Storytelling: Learning and blocking Broadway Revolution Show
Day 2
Precision, Musicality, and Artistry
Tuesday 9AM-4PM

Morning
Vocal Masterclasses: Students will receive focused training in vocal performance, projection, musicality, stage presence, and audition techniques while exploring a variety of musical theatre styles.
Character development: Through guided exercises and performance coaching, students will explore character creation, motivation, physicality, and expression to bring roles to life on stage.

Day 3
Showcase Rehearsal & Performance
Wednesday 9AM Drop off @ 407 Oak Street; 10:00am - 6:30PM @ The Lamp Theater (We will walk down as a group)
Morning
Final rehearsals: Students will participate in focused rehearsals leading up to the final showcase, refining performance details and strengthening ensemble work.
Dress rehearsals: The workshop will conclude with a dress rehearsal and final performance opportunity at the Lamp Theatre, allowing students to showcase the skills and confidence they developed throughout the program.
Final showcase of Broadway Revolution ; The Lamp Theater @ 5:30 PM, DOORS OPEN AT 5PM
